About Us

The Panamaniacs is your friendly neighborhood cover band, bringing fresh harmonies, deep grooves, and unforgettable songs to the heart of Philadelphia. 


Based on Panama Street in the Fitler Square neighborhood, we’re a group of lifelong musicians who came together over our shared love of music (and proximity!). What started as casual jam sessions with neighbors quickly turned into a full-blown community vibe, with a set list full of danceable tunes, sing-along favorites, and deep cuts you forgot how much you loved.


We play everything from house parties and block parties to local festivals, parks, and private events — including neighborhood staples like Party in the Park for the Friends of Schuylkill River Park. Whether it's an impromptu gig on the sidewalk or a full sound setup under the stars, we bring the same energy, joy, and musical connection every time.


Each of our five members brings their own flavor to the mix:

  • Jerry Amari – Electric & Acoustic Guitar, Vocals
  • Andy Dalzell – Piano, Acoustic Guitar, Vocals
  • J.J. El-Far – Vocals, Percussion
  • Mina Mishrikey – Electric Bass
  • Catharine Price – Piano, Acoustic Guitar, backup Percussion and Vocals
  • Lew Rosman – Cajón, Percussion


From rock, soul, and indie to funk, folk, and pop, our sound is as eclectic as our influences. The result? An unpredictable set list filled with songs that feel both fresh and familiar. We’re here to move you — whether it’s dancing in the street, swaying under string lights, or just smiling to a tune you didn’t know you missed.
